Mitragyna hirsuta is a tall tree found in parts of Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. It’s closely related to Mitragyna speciosa in Thailand it’s called kra thum khok. The plant contains a number of alkaloids but the main active constituent in Mitragyna hirsuta is Mitraphylline, which is chemically related to mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine found in Kratom (Mitragyna Speciosa).

Description

Mitragyna hirsuta is a tall tree that can be found in certain areas of Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. The broad leaves of the tree contain numerous alkaloids, but the main active constituent in Mitragyna hirsuta is Mitraphylline, which is chemically related to mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine, which are found in Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa).

It is also known as Kra Thom Khok and is closely related to Mitragyna Speciosa, so it has a become a popular alternative to Krathum. In Thailand, it is more commonly known as Krathum.

The crushed leaves of Mitragyna hirsuta are ground from the alkaloid-heavy leaves of the tree, and is measured by the KG, with a minimum purchase of 10 KGS.
