Mitragyna hirsuta seeds come from a tall tree found in parts of Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. It’s closely related to Mitragyna speciosa in Thailand it’s called kra thum khok. The plant contains a number of alkaloids but the main active constituent in Mitragyna hirsuta seed is Mitraphylline, which is chemically related to mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine found in Kratom (Mitragyna Speciosa).
