Mitragyna javanica is a small tree found in Southeast Asia. While Mitragyna javanica has a similar appearance to the Mitragyna speciosa (Kratom), there are huge differences in their chemistry. Mitragyna javanica does not contain the main alkaloids mitragynine and ajmalicine, but similar compounds called mitrajavine and large amounts of 3-isoajmalicine.

Description
Mitragyna javanica may not be as well-known as the similar raw botanical Mitragyna speciosa (also known as Kratom), but it has become increasingly popular as an alternative. Mitragyna javanica is native to areas in Southeast Asia, where this small tree with broad leaves grows. Mitragyna javanica (also called Kra Thom Na) and Mitragyna speciosa do, however, have distinct chemical differences: Mitragyna javanica contains the active ingredients of mitrajavine and 3-isoajmalicine, while Mitragyna speciosa is known for mitragynine and 3-isoajmalicine.
This powdered extract is ground from the broad leaves of Kra Thom Na, and 100 KG of raw botanical leaves are compacted to created 1 KG of product.
